How IRA charitable gifts work.

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of up to $108,000 in 2025 directly from your IRA to Kind to Kids Foundation. We are an eligible 501(c)(3) charity and gladly accept QCD gifts.

Counts toward your RMD

If you are age 73 or older, your QCD can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution.

May reduce taxable income

Because the distribution goes directly to charity, it is generally not included in your taxable income.

Simple and flexible

  • One-on-one academic support and mentoring through UGrad Academy.
  • School supplies, books, laptops, and tutoring to keep students on track.
