Helping Students in Foster Care Succeed in School and Beyond
Nationwide, only 50% of foster youth will graduate from high school. Many leave without the preparation needed for work or further education.
UGrad Academy is changing that.

Our Approach
We provide holistic support through three core pillars.
A Mentor Who Shows Up
Each student is matched with a dedicated Education Specialist who meets with them every two weeks, building trust and consistency.
Coaching for School & Life
Our Specialists offer one-on-one academic support, life skills guidance, and access to essentials like tutoring and technology.
A Circle of Support
We team up with teachers, caregivers, and mentors to encourage every student so they always know someone is in their corner.
Refer a Student
Teachers, foster parents, caregivers, and Division of Family Services (DFS) officers can refer a foster youth in Delaware to UGrad Academy.
Upon completion, you'll get an email from Kind to Kinds and we’ll work to connect with DFS caseworkers to complete the intake process.
